Premium units

Our premium units in the lower complex have carpeted floors, beds that already have linen and towels provided, along with a TV/DVD player, small bar fridge, a heater if required and tea/coffee supplies. The units have configurations of two single beds, or one queen-sized bed. One unit has a queen and single bed and needs to be booked as it is very popular.

Cost; $50 per  person per night for 2 nights or more, 1 night $60 per person,  children under 5 are free. 

Our standard units in the upper block are fully booked all year round


The main office has a small camp-site dairy with basic supplies including pies, ice-cream, drinks and confectionery.

Hours of operation is Monday to Sunday from 9am to 7pm.

After hours is available at the main Camp house.

First Aid is available at the main office and camp house.

All units have access to full kitchen facilities situated in each block. These include a full oven, fridge/freezer, pots, pans, crockery through to a slow cooker. Please note these are locked between the hours of 10pm and 7am and can only be opened outside of these hours by arrangement.

A games room is available with Freeview TV, a pool table, ping pong table and games and books.

Ablution blocks are also available in each complex.

Absolutely no smoking is permitted in any unit. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged should this occur.

This is a child-friendly site. We ask that all children are supervised at all times.

Pets are NOT permitted in units.

All guests are encouraged to use the vegetables and herbs provided in the gardens and fruit from the fruit trees when in season.

Other facilities

Our laundry is situated in the lower complex, washing machine $2 and dryer $8 and requires gold coins to operate. If you require change or washing liquid, this is available at the main office..

The camp has access to the Murupara Community Pool which is open between October and March of each year and there is a swimming area in the Rangitaiki River just a minute's walk away.
